The Schedule

  1. Suzanne Kingsbury, founder of Gateless Writing and Kelly Anderson, Gateless Trained Teacher and author of the internationally acclaimed novel, The Wild Beneath, will provide support and encouragement for your writing journey.
  2. After an introduction to the Gateless method, Suzanne and Kelly will move you through a 7-minute somatic experience that releases endorphins and calms the nervous system, stimulating areas of the brain where memory and the imaginal are stored, and opening creative neural pathways to move fluidly through critical blocks.
  3. For 15-20 minutes, you will write in a silent community.
  4. The writing period will be followed by a reading period (about 30 minutes) where you may be asked to read what you wrote aloud and receive Gateless feedback from Suzanne and Kelly that focuses on your unique voice, your power and your craft.

Are you interested in joining a Gateless Retreat, the Gateless Academy or in becoming a Gateless Trained Teacher? Please let us know so that we can accommodate you!
