The retreat will be located at Voewood, Cromer Rd, Holt NR25 6QS, United Kingdom.
Arrival & Departure Times
- The retreat starts on April 9 at 4:00 pm ET. Train information is below.
- The retreat will officially end on April 13 at 9:15 am. We will convene at Voewood at 8:00 am for a farewell breakfast and goodbye ceremony.
- There will be a car to take you to and from the train station at the times noted below.

Directions by private car:
From the Fakenham direction take the A148 marked for Cromer and continue along this road for about 8 miles. You will pass a sign to Holt town centre on your left and a few hundred yards after this you will reach a roundabout. Turn left, again following the A148 marked for Cromer. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout and as soon as you reach the 40 mph speed limit sign start to indicate left. The driveway to Voewood is the next entrance on the left after the left-hand turn to Kelling Hospital and a bus stop in a layby. You will see a set of large orange gates marking the entrance. Drive along the driveway for about 100 yards and you will have reached Voewood.
Directions by public transport:
Go to the Liverpool Street Station in London to get the 11:30 am train to Sheringham Station. This train should be on Platform 9. It may have changed platforms so get there by about 10:45 am to make sure you have enough time to orient.
Your train will arrive in Norwich at 1:18 pm. Get off the train and switch trains at Norwich. You will wait for 27 minutes.
Your train to Sheringham will leave from Platform 4 at 1:45 pm. We will pick you up there.
Total journey time is approximately 3 hours.

We will have drivers waiting to meet you when you get in at 2:43 pm to Sheringham, and we will take you to Voewood.

On April 13, we will bring you to the train station in Kings Lynn to catch the train back to Kings Lane by about 2pm.
If you feel you need to rent a car, please let us know.
What to Bring
- Comfy clothes: think loose pants, tank tops, loungy clothes, flowy dresses… but that said – ball gowns, high top, crochet – whatever makes you feel like the most you– best YOU!
- Cozy sweaters and wraps; temps can be cool in the UK
- Toiletries: body soap, face wash, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, lotion, hairbrush etc.
- Comfort items (such as a scarf/shawl to wrap yourself in and get comfy)
- Eye mask if that’s your thing
- Any supplements, medications, essential oils
- Laptop and charger (we will have daily writing sessions, so if you prefer to write with a notebook, that’s cool too, but past guests have often said I wish I brought my computer!)
- Journal and pen
- Reusable water bottle
- One white outfit
- Curious mind and an open heart
